Join the community in honoring the service and sacrifice of veterans during this special Memorial Day tribute hosted by William T. Spooner American Legion Post 17. As part of the lead-up to America’s 250th anniversary, this event recognizes the generations of men and women whose courage has safeguarded liberty and carried the promise of freedom forward.
The Memorial Day Parade will begin at Schley Avenue and travel through Lewes toward the beach, concluding at American Legion Post 17. Following the parade, a Memorial Day Ceremony will take place in the Pavilion, where the community is invited to gather in remembrance and gratitude. Veterans and active military members are encouraged to participate by walking or riding in the parade.
Come together to reflect, honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and celebrate the enduring spirit of service that continues to shape our nation.
