Lewes 250: A Year to Celebrate and Reflect
After nearly a year of planning, the Lewes 250th Celebration is coming together thanks to the hard work of more than 30 nonprofit organizations and dozens of local businesses. Their time, ideas, and energy have made this community-wide effort possible, and we’re so grateful for their support.
This year-long tribute is a chance to celebrate our shared history and reflect on how 250 years of American life have shaped who we are today.
Throughout the year, you can look forward to concerts, speaker series, art exhibits, themed dinners, tree plantings, historic dedications, and more — events designed for residents and visitors of all ages to enjoy.
We invite you to join us as we honor 250 years of the American spirit right here in Lewes.
We’re so thankful to everyone who’s helping bring Lewes 250 to life. This celebration belongs to all of us: neighbors, volunteers, families, and friends who make this town what it is. We can’t wait to celebrate together throughout the year!
