Darkology: Blackface and the American Way of Entertainment

Join Princeton historian Rhae Lynn Barnes for a powerful conversation about her book Darkology, which examines the history and impact of blackface minstrel shows in American entertainment. Barnes will discuss how these performances shaped culture for generations and the long Civil Rights movement that worked to end the practice.
