The Lightship Overfalls will conduct TWO Anchor drop events this NYE! Anchor Drop #1 (AD1) will take place from 5:30 to 7pm at the Lightship and Monomoy pavilion adjacent to the ship. Windscreens and standing heaters in the pavilion will be in use to provide weather protection.

The ship's "anchor" will be lowered down the ship's mast after a 7:00 pm countdown, (midnight in the United Kingdom—the reason for our 250th celebrations). Participate in our two contests:

Contest #1 - “Drop the Anchor" – Win the chance to board the ship and help the Overfalls crew drop the anchor at 7:00 pm.

Contest #2 - “Have a Blast" - Win the chance to blast the ship's authentic horn used to protect ships and sailors on foggy days and nights.

Drawing from entered names will be at 6:30pm prior to the 7pm anchor drop.
